When I was a child I loved TV and art. I thought that when I grew up I would become a camera man for the BBC! However – armed with the knowledge of basic probabilities and some knowledge of the way the world works, I ended up studying science and following a whole different career path.
Now, much later in life I’ve found that enthusiasm for the creation of images again through my photography. I love the artistic, creative and technical aspects of photography. I love the fact that it opens opportunities to connect with people and serve my local community.
I use the latest Nikon equipment including a full set of prime (single focal length) fast, large aperture lenses. These help me to create shallow depth of field images with pin sharp subjects and swirly pretty bokeh (out of focus areas). The excitement of photography is bringing together the human, technical, artistic and logistical elements to create something completely unique and emotionally powerful.
